Ribbons, Medals, and Insignia

At the top of the page are the Fouled Anchor collar devices that denote a Chief Petty Officer.

The Silver Dolphins are the insignia that tells the world that the wearer has Qualified in Submarines.  It is the emblem that is worn by all Enlisted Qualified Submariners and represents a brotherhood that few will understand.

The Ribbons are the Sea Service ribbon and the Battle Efficiency “E” awards.

The Medals are the Navy Achievement Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.

The Submarine Deterrent Pin represents the patrols I made on Fleet Ballistic Submarines.

And finally, the badge at the bottom represents my collateral duties as a Career Counselor.
